Murray and Valerie Wood bought the Peachland property in Peachland, BC. in the fall of 2015 which they now call the Peachland Eagles Nest B&B®. They were taken by the lay of the land and the amazing views. It is also more central in the Okanagan Valley so one can quickly access outdoor adventure and community events. They have never regretted the decision to move from the Vancouver area and settle in Peachland.

Murray Wood

Murray has been involved in building and real estate investing for many years. Since purchasing the Peachland properties he and Valerie have been doing extensive renovations and building the B&B business. He also volunteers as a director of the Peachland Chamber of Commerce. The local Rotary and Habitat for Humanity are of interest as well.

Valerie Wood

Valerie has been in the food brokerage and sales for many years. Valerie has completed a three-year program to become a therapeutic Councillor and her focus is grief counselling. She volunteers at the Peachland Wellness Centre and is a “Caring Clown” at the Central Okanagan Hospice. Valerie has made many friends and is enjoying the Okanagan lifestyle.

Murray and Valerie love the outdoors. They enjoy x-country skiing and snowshoeing, hiking, fishing and hunting, social events and the wine country. All this and much more is at the doorstep of The Eagles Nest.
